Class Recorder:

The class recorder is responsible for taking notes one time for 2 hours of class time.  The recorder can situate his/her notes in any manner he/she desires (bullets, outline, tell a story with the notes, etc.) as long as the notes equal approx. one page single spaced.  The recorder will certainly want to quote students who have made particularly astute comments concerning the literature we are discussing.

Each student will:

  1. Sign up for a day you would like to be the recorder
  2. Take notes on your assigned day
  3. Type your notes and proof them for errors
  4. Save the notes in Microsoft WORD, RTF or PDF format
  5. Email the notes to me as an attachment
  6. I will post the notes on our webpage for everyone to access

At the end of the class, ultimately we will have a running dialogue of our thoughts, concerns, discussions pertaining to women in literature and the texts we have studied throughout the semester.

The notes are due by the Sunday before the next class period.  If they are not received by midnight on that Sunday, the recorder will receive zero credit for this assignment.
