Oral Presentation

For this project, you will need to select a story and author who are not on the syllabus. You will also need to find an author who has information written about him or her. Once you have selected an author/story, you should immediately research the author and make sure your story will be suitable for this project.

1. Research your author’s life.
2. Research the particular story you have selected. If you cannot find anything on your particular story, you should at least be able to find information on the author’s work.
3. You will deliver this information to the class.
4. You also need to write down no less than 10 questions to ask the class about the story. Decide what you think the theme is, but don’t tell the class until you have given them the opportunity to tell you what they think about the story, You may ask questions about any aspect of the story that interests you. (See your text regarding general questions.)

Be prepared to spend 20 minutes of the class period discussing your story and your author with the class.

.Be advised that if you do not spend at least 20 minutes teaching the story, your group will lose a full grade for the project.
