CONCLUSION

 

1)  Restate or summarize your argument (thesis; what

      you’ve proven) with sub-points in the same order

      they appear in thesis paragraph and paper.

 

2)  Options to end the concluding paragraph.  This

     section can be highly personal, opinionated, and

     subjective.  You’ve proven your point; now comment

     on it. 

        a) Predict the future based on your findings

        b) Offer a warning if certain steps aren’t taken

        c) Offer solutions or judgements

        d) Call for action from the readers

        e) Register a hope for change

        f) combine any of the above.

 

3) Do not introduce any new points or sub-points.
