Type in Topic (keep it simple; this is a key word search and the engine only looks for articles with your key words in them; experiment with different words; use “and” between key words i.e.: nursing and shortage; Tibet and tourism; high school and violence

Place all phrases in quotes: for example, "high school"; "metal detectors"; "mandatory overtime."

When you have narrowed your topic search again with key words which reflect the terms you've found in your sources.

Conduct your final research by searching by subgroup.  Type in the subgroups as your key words: i.e.:

nursing and "sign-on bonus"

"high school" and "armed guards"

"medication error" and "nursing shortage"
