Professor Bode has been at MCC since 1987 and a member of the Business and Technology department since 1988. Having advanced through the professorial ranking system to Professor status in 1997, Professor Bode specializes in the area of Operating Systems, with an emphasis in Microsoft Networking topics. This includes an extensive study of Microsoft Windows NT4, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, and Microsoft Windows Server 2003. In addition, since 1985, Professor Bode has worked as a consultant for a variety of small to medium sized businesses and non-profit organizations in the Manatee and Sarasota County area, helping with installation and maintenance of computer and networking hardware. During the summer semesters, Professor Bode works as a Microsoft Certified Trainer to provide training to Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centers located throughout the United States and overseas.
