This is a course for people who like to read and have time to read 7 novels and watch 7 films
in addition to spending time in online research and writing.
We shall be exploring the history and conventions  of the novel and
the history and conventions of how the novel has been adapted to film.
Technology requirements for the course include basic computer skills, 
reliable and fast (cable, DSL or FIOS) internet access, 
an active MCC student e-mail account, and word-processing skills. 
Access to a DVD player would be most useful.
