Assignment 

Rent the video of Shakespeare in Love, winner of the 1999 Oscar for best film.  The story is, of course, a fictionalized account of the writing of Romeo and Juliet.  It does, however provide many insights about the working of the Elizabethan theatre.  In your film review/journal entry(250-500 words), discuss what you learned about the Elizabethan theatre -- its stagecraft, its organization, and its politics from the film.  Be specific!
