Personal Alchemy:

A Collaborative Film Project for SCF Students, Faculty, and Staff on Arts and Letters Day

SCF owes its success as an institution to students who are anything but common.  Indeed, SCF students arrive with rich life stories that demonstrate how education often takes place outside of school.
In this film, students, faculty, and staff have an opportunity to describe their own life-transforming experiences, educational moments outside of the classroom that have shaped them into extraordinary people.

Tell your story either at Swampside Readings (7 pm, Oct. 22 in the Student Union) or on Arts and Letters Day (November 10th) in the Student Union, and contribute to this filmed document that will stand as a testament to the diverse experiences of SCF students.

Winner of four Tony Awards,
including Best Musical

Created by renowned director/choreographer Susan Stroman, Contact’s three engaging stories depict the pursuit of life’s most elemental connection with another human being: love. The sheer ingenuity of the choreography creates a romantic, breathtakingly beautiful and totally unique fusion of music, theatre and dance. A major new production by Asolo Rep in collaboration with Sarasota Ballet. Contact is a scintillating thrill for the soul as well as the senses.
